Warehouse Project: Flexible Rental with Buy-Back Success

In response to increasing distribution demands at their Moss Vale, NSW site, Harper Collins required a reliable and efficient solution for stock storage and streamlined logistics operations. To support this need, Australian Temporary Structures delivered a customised modular warehouse that not only fulfilled operational requirements but also offered long-term flexibility through our structured rental and buy-back program.
Harper Collins Project Overview

One Roller Door – Enabled smooth vehicle access for deliveries and dispatch
Three Personnel Doors – Facilitated internal workflow and improved accessibility for staff
Flexible Rental-to-Ownership Pathway
Originally designed as a five-year rental agreement, the project highlighted the effectiveness of ATS’s Buy-Back Program, an option that gives clients the flexibility to purchase the structure at any point during the rental term.
Under this scheme, 50% of all rental payments are applied to the final purchase price, allowing Harper Collins to convert their temporary structure into a long-term asset without requiring a large upfront investment.
This flexible ownership pathway allowed Harper Collins to:
Assess the structure’s long-term suitability before committing to a purchase
Optimise their capital expenditure across operational growth
Avoid early capital outlay while benefitting from a fully functional warehouse facility
Project Impact and Long-Term Value
The success of this project demonstrates how Australian Temporary Structures rental solutions can evolve with a business’s needs. The structure delivered immediate results in improving storage capacity, easing the burden on core facilities, and streamlining the ingoing and outgoing movement of stock.
The decision to activate the buy-back option validated the durability, functionality, and operational value of the structure, and reinforced ATS’s position as a trusted supplier of scalable and affordable industrial warehouse solutions.
