Bay Canopy for Logistics Efficiency
NZ Couriers, a leading logistics and parcel delivery company in New Zealand, required a robust and weatherproof solution to improve operational flow and protect loading activities across two adjacent buildings. Their high traffic loading bay was vulnerable to the elements, impacting truck movements and efficiency, particularly during inclement weather.
HR Structures was engaged to design and deliver a modular canopy system that could seamlessly integrate with the existing building layout, while withstanding the daily rigours of a busy logistics environment.
The Solution for NZ Couriers
To meet the brief, HR Structures supplied and installed two canopy systems:
A 15m wide canopy with a 5.3m side height, providing ample clearance for large transport trucks.
A 20m wide canopy with a 5.13m side height, offering extended coverage across the full breadth of the loading zone.
Both structures were engineered to attach directly to the existing warehouse, creating a fully sheltered corridor that supports efficient goods transfer and safe vehicle movements.
