Modular Recreation Facility for Lifestyle Continuity
A comfortable, fully equipped community space delivered quickly, supporting residents while permanent village facilities are under construction.
Summerset Retirement Village Project Overview
At Summerset Retirement Village in Cranbourne North, the focus is on creating a relaxed, connected lifestyle with access to shopping centres, medical services, cafés, and everyday conveniences.
As part of the broader development, which will include over 200 independent living units and 100+ assisted-living suites, Summerset required a temporary recreation facility to ensure residents could immediately enjoy communal spaces while construction progressed.
Australian Temporary Structures delivered a high-quality modular solution, working in partnership with HR Structures GmbH, to design and install a 12m × 20m Perth Structure tailored for comfort, accessibility, and daily use.
The Solution: Perth Modular Structure
The selected Perth Structure was designed to function as a welcoming, multi-purpose recreation hub, providing residents with a space to eat, socialise, relax, and participate in activities.
Featuring a curved Thermo Roof System, the structure offers excellent insulation and climate control, ensuring year-round comfort regardless of external conditions.
Internally, the facility includes a modern open-plan kitchen, disabled-access unisex toilet, and a light-filled environment enhanced by extensive glass walling.
